You make such an apt analogy between these two cases. The nagging question for me is why? What administrator at Penn stood to gain from tormenting the female athletes, and how many staff collaborated? Is abusive misogyny common in that line of work? The restorative measures are wonderful to behold but the agents responsible should have to undergo psych evaluations at the very least. They should all be ordered to the behavioral psych dept. so their pathologies can be described and screened out of future hires.

You ask "why?"

Because virtually all of society has been captured by this bonkers ideology. "Trans" is everywhere.

I agree that all the people who've gone along with it and actively encouraged it deserve to be held to account -- especially therapists and physicians, who should be sued into oblivion -- but I'm not holding my breath.

When this whole destructive, misogynistic house of cards comes tumbling down, all the "trans allies" will put their heads down and crawl back into the woodwork and pretend they never said what they said nor did what they did. And though said "allies" are, for now, only digging in their heels deeper, when the reckoning finally comes they won't be held responsible for the damage they've caused.

The Omnicause uses women as human shields for its ideas. Once you see it, you can't unsee it.

The Omnicause only cares about women to the extent that women care about the Omnicause. If they cease to care about the Omnicause, then they are set out with the week's trash.

I get it, they were deceptive but really ladies? Do your due diligence before letting yourself get branded ffs and the take some accountability for your own actions. This wasn’t done too you, you participated in and allowed your own degradation. If someone asks you to do something you’re not comfortable with don’t do it and if you are actually willing to do it step back and ask yourself why.

Respect for yourself and accepting accountability for your part in your choices is true freedom and power.
